Application & Biological Property

Brivudine Impurity 13; it inhibits herpes simplex virus (HSV) replication. It has also been shown to inhibit the growth of tumor cells in culture and to be effective against HSV in mice. It is used in biomedical research for the treatment of viral infections, specifically HIV. This product interferes with the virus’s ability to hijack host DNA, inhibiting replication and progression of the disease.
