Application & Biological Property

It ia s glomerular epithelial cell toxin and podocyte toxin. It is the aminonucleoside portion of the antibiotic puromycin, and used in nephrosis animal models. It induces apoptosis, and also a reversible inhibitor of dipeptidyl peptidase II and cytosol alanyl aminopeptidase. It also induces secretion of cell migrasome.
